![]() ![]() ![]() Because of this, the majority of our posts are addressing bugs. One of the main reasons the forums exist is so users can have that direct and sometimes immediate contact with our development team. Thanks for the open and honest communication! It will double regardless of what you call it if you don't get in soon and commit to a long term commitment. They call it an end to the introductory rates, but that's just marketing speak. If they do, they don't have the authority or ability to change it because I'm quite certain that they would after using it for any length of time.įinally, if you plan to buy get in quick. It's as if the designers never build sermon presentations that don't just include bible verses. I doubt they will ever fix the problem with too many clicks and the problem with not being able to put bible verses or videos between images in slide shows. I'm hoping the DVD and Youtube things will get fixed. I won't be able to do this with Proclaim, which means the next concert will require me to grab the Windows PC, hook it up to the projectors (not a simple thing) and run the old software again. Sometimes our choir presents concerts and I get a bunch of images that go along with the themes of the songs and I do a kind of karaoke where I just grab an image based on whats being sung or said and throw it up on screen. In other software they integrate a file browser and I can drag and drop. My second biggest complaint is that it takes way too many clicks to add things. You simply can't do that which is why it takes a much longer time to create presentations with Logos than with other worship software I've used which does allow for this. It does not support video clips from a DVD and using YouTube means adding the webpage and playing it like one would on a webpage, which is not ideal.įinally, my biggest complaint is that I can't import all my sermon pictures and then add scripture or video files between them. One can also import videos in supported formats (I use MP4 most of the time). Logos excels at presenting Bible verses, lyrics with easy Song Select integration and slide shows or power point. It takes a lot of clicks to add things, make them look the way you want due to a lack of decent templates and no user created templates. One must have an Internet connection on the PC used for the church, at least long enough to download the presentation.Īs for the actual tool, building a presentation can be time consuming. ![]() I can say that the biggest strength of Logos is the ability to create a presentation on one computer and have it just show up on the church computer once you open the app and then open the new presentation from the Open menu. It's been a very long time since I tested it. I would only reconsider using Easyworship in more complex setup that would require the vast features of Pro Presenter.I'm not that familiar with Easy Worship. I’ll be creating some video tutorials real soon so watch this space. Create clean, media-rich presentations in minutes.Has the ability to overlay text over video.Easy to learn and train other volunteers. The point that I am trying to make is that Easyworship stands by its name, EASY!Īny church that wants to start off using presentation software to enhance their worship experience should consider trying out Easyworship. Some months back I managed to train a young volunteer by the name of Kim, I taught her the basics and in a month she mastered it. I have stuck with Easyworship for 5 years now, the fact that I can train a volunteer on how to use it in less than 15 minutes is awesome. I’m sure it could be upgraded with more features that would make it an equal rival to Pro presenter, however I doubt it was designed to be on the same level as Pro Presenter. The reason I use Easyworship is that is does what I need it to do, and it does that pretty well. Fast forward to 2014, I have trained volunteers as well as set churches up to use Easyworship. ( A Must read for any church starting off in visual worship ,The Visual Worship Handbook) It wasn’t rocket science to learn, however I did wish I had a resource on the basics of visual worship. Ever since I joined the technical team in my church back in 2009, my first task was to teach myself Easyworship. ![]()
